The first debate he spearheaded was  in 2010 at Dominican University of California.

Marc was the mastermind and creator of this high profile debate. He brought together the ideas and many strategies, The students gave this debate on campus overwhelming support. It directly benefited the university: it helped with enrollment, donations, alumni relations and participation by the community at large, and was significant for both Meg Whitman and Jerry Brown

This debate was broadcast on NBC with Tom Brokaw as moderator, and had over 200+ plus media in attendance.

Due to its huge success this debate was extensive and became the foundation in which to move forth.

He created the California Governor’s Debate in 2018  based on an event he first spearheaded in 2010 for Dominican University of California.  He was asked to architect and produce the Super Debate Day.  He did so in partnership with NextStar Broadcasting news team and Evan Onstot, KSEE24 Anchor and Sunday Morning Matters political show host was moderator.

CORSI choreographed this event in every facet possible.

Communication and coordination with all candidates and political consultants: Assemblyman Allen Travis, John Cox, State Treasurer John Chaing, Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom, Delaine Eastin, Antonio Villaraigosa…

Audience: The debate was a statewide live broadcast to all television and radio stations in California. All California markets’ (eleven TV and twenty radio) will received the broadcast. The program will aired from 5:30 PM to 7 PM PST.  Google/You Tube – will also be live streamed and promoted the debate. In addition, the debate was available to all TV, radio and online news organizations including all California network stations; ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, Telemundo, PBS and Univision.  Other networks including CNN, MSNBC and C-SPAN and their online channels were invited to carry the debate broadcast live or on a tape-delayed basis. It also had a live Spanish translation and was closed-captioned for the hearing impaired.

Community: The League of Women Voters, black caucus’, California Broadcast Association…

His political savvy has ensured impressive results for every debate day he has constructed and orchestrated.  He has previously served as the political liaison for the Mayor of San Francisco, his Office and City Supervisors and for Governor of California and his Office.  Marc has befriended the likes of senators, governors, attorney generals and mayors.  He will be spearheading and producing the next debates.

The American Advertising Federation (AAF) awarded Mr. Corsi the prestigious The Silver Medal Award and Ad Man of the Year.

The AAF recognized his outstanding work in advertising. These awards recognized his contributions to the industry: original thinking, raising the bar for the standards, dedication to human and social welfare, and his long-term commitment.

Marc Corsi has made a legacy impact in the advertising world and has been honored with many distinguished awards and accolades during his illustrious career.  His agency went on to become the largest independent award-winning advertising agency in the West.  He also received for his efforts special industry recognition with the creation of a scholarship in his name by AAF’s Ad Mark.

Notable achievements and honors

• He received more than 100 Addy awards in a four year period and several “Best of Show” and “Best of Division” awards

• He received “The People’s Choice Award”  several different years

• He received the AAF Medal of Merit for distinguished service several different years from the AAF Board of Directors

• He received the President’s Award several different years for his leadership

• He received the ADMARK Award

• Was elected Chairman of the Western Region for the American Advertising Federation (AAF) (which served 200 ad clubs and 50,000 members)

• Served on the Executive Committee and the National Board of Directors for AAF

• Served on the Executive Committee and  judged  The Hall of Achievement Awards

• Served on the Council of Governors

• Chaired the Northern California ADDY Awards for seven years (building it into one of the most successful preminent awards events in the nation)

• Former Governor of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA) Northern California Council Board
